Terrible road accident: 5 members of the same family died on the spot, 3 were seriously injured

A terrible road accident took place in Koppal, five people died on the spot and three were seriously injured.

A tragic incident took place late on Saturday night near Bhanapur village of Yalaburga taluk of Koppal district where five members of the same family who were returning to their hometown by car after celebrating their birthday died in a road accident.

Devappa Koppada (62) of Binnala village in Yalaburga, daughter-in-law Girijamma (45), Anna's sons Shanthamma (35), Parvathamma (32), relative Kasturamma (20) died.

In the incident, four people including the driver Harshvardhan, children Basavaraja, Puttaraja and Bhumika were seriously injured and they were sent to the district hospital.
